OpenAI / ChatGPT Connector Setup

Section connects to OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise platform through the Compliance API, pulling per-user activity, conversation logs, audit events, stateful workspace data (canvases, custom GPTs, projects), and organization-scoped cost logs to power governance, adoption, and Spend reporting in Section. As of July 16, 2026, the Compliance connector key setup process is self-service: a workspace owner can create a dedicated admin key in the OpenAI Admin Console under Credentials > Admin keys. Complete setup requires both the ChatGPT Workspace ID and the OpenAI platform Organization ID.
